Today sees a new round of grants being made available to businesses affected by the current temporary coronavirus restrictions in Scotland. The businesses most likely to benefit from this new funding will be in the hospitality sector, but eligibility does extend to the hospitality supply chain and to other sectors asked to restrict their operations, such as gyms.
Businesses forced to close as a result of the current restrictions could be entitled to claim either £2,000 or £3,000, whilst businesses which can remain open but are subject to restriction to their operation or whose turnover has been directly and materially impacted may be able to claim either a £1,000 or £1,500 grant.
These grants do not need to be repaid and can be accessed through your local council. For more information and to apply click here.
Please note that these grants are only open for a very limited time. Applications open at 9.00am today, Tuesday 20 October, and close at 5.00pm on Tuesday 3 November. Act quickly or risk losing out.
