Police Scotland Report for Forres – MAY 2019

ANTISOCIAL BEHAVIOUR, VIOLENCE AND DISORDER

  • On 04 May an assault occurred at a licenced premises in Forres. A 24 year old male has been charged and a report submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
  • On 11 May reports were received of males kicking over wheelie bins and other anti-social behaviour in Forres. The males then entered a garden where they broke plants pots and a window. A 13 year old was traced at the locus and has been reported to the Youth Justice Management Unit. The adult with him is to be charged also and reported to the Procurator Fiscal.
  • On 18 May 2019 a 21 year old male as stopped by officers smelling strongly of cannabis. He was found to be in possession of a quantity of herbal cannabis. He was reported to the Procurator Fiscal.

ROAD SAFETY

  • On 05 May 2019 a 28 year old female was reported as a suspected drink driver after her vehicle was seen to collide with a wall in Forres. She then collided with a parked vehicle. Police attended and she was conveyed to hospital where further procedures were carried out. The analysis results are pending for the level of blood alcohol. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal is she over the limit.
